2006

The consumer finance initiative, – Easy Own – was launched through a subsidiary, Asset Management Company Limited. This service facilitates hire purchase agreements from participating furniture and appliance vendors in Jamaica.

December 2006: The company received five awards from the Jamaica Stock Exchange Best Practices Awards outperforming all other Jamaican publicly listed companies. These awards included:

Best Performing Company for the second consecutive year;
Recipient of the Governor General’s Award for Excellence as best overall listed company
Runners up in the areas of Best Practices Annual Report, Best Practices Website (Stockbrokerage) and Best Practices Website (Company).
